Mission
The Chapman Ambassadors are highly motivated student leaders who serve as the face of the Chapman student body at numerous high-profile campus events. They provide personal interaction with the Chapman community and friends of the university. Ambassadors are present at various events such as Homecoming, Trustee Luncheons and other guest occasions throughout the year in coordination with the Office of the President and University Advancement. Members are chosen through a detailed application and interview process. Candidates must maintain a 3.0 grade point average and are selected by their leadership history, campus involvement, articulation, dedication, personal standards, knowledge of Chapman and ability to represent the diversity of Chapman’s students. The purpose of Kappa Delta Pi shall be to promote excellence in and recognize outstanding
contributions to education. Kappa Delta Pi shall endeavor to maintain a high degree of professional
fellowship among its members, to quicken professional growth, and to honor achievement in
educational work. To these ends, it shall invite to membership persons who exhibit commendable
professional qualities, worthy educational ideals, and sound scholarship, without regard to race,
age, color, religion, gender or sexual identity, or disability. The Chi Beta chapter at Chapman
University shall work to network in the community and volunteer in local schools and
organizations.

- Spark interest and passion for the field of economics, regardless of major or experience level by creating a safe and welcoming environment for open dialogue between members.
- Inspire the exploration of economics by encouraging members of varied academic backgrounds to join and provide diverse perspectives in our discussions through presenting and discussing economic information that is engaging and free of technical jargon.
- Provide monthly meetings where students can network, learn, and discuss different topics in economics.
- Provide support for students, especially those studying economics, through quiet study sessions and the sharing of academic and professional resources.
- Host relevant speakers to present and/or join in and support the monthly discussions.

We are a society whose mission is to promote the study of history through the encouragement of research, teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians. We seek to bring students, teachers and writers of history together for intellectual and social exchanges, which promote and assist historical research and publication by our members in a variety of ways.
