The Chapman Ambassadors are highly motivated student leaders who serve as the face of the Chapman student body at numerous high-profile campus events. They provide personal interaction with the Chapman community and friends of the university. Ambassadors are present at various events such as Homecoming, Trustee Luncheons and other guest occasions throughout the year in coordination with the Office of the President and University Advancement. Members are chosen through a detailed application and interview process. Candidates must maintain a 3.0 grade point average and are selected by their leadership history, campus involvement, articulation, dedication, personal standards, knowledge of Chapman and ability to represent the diversity of Chapman’s students. The mission of the Wealth Management Club is to educate and prepare Chapman University students for careers in wealth management, financial advising, and related client-facing finance roles. Through hands-on learning, professional development, and exposure to industry professionals, the Wealth Management Club seeks to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world advisory practice.

Nu Rho Psi membership provides recognition of verified academic excellence in the interdisciplinary field of Neuroscience. Students who become members of Nu Rho Psi are selected based on their superior scholarly accomplishments as well as their interest and experience in research. Nu Rho Psi membership is for life and it is often a springboard for networking and research collaboration. Nu Rho Psi chapters at our Colleges and Universities provide a structure for our member’s professional development and a co-curricular educational focus on the study of the nervous system. Nu Rho Psi sponsors and participates in both regional and national meetings where young neuroscientists from around the country gather to share their scientific findings. Nu Rho Psi offers competitive travel awards for members to attend and present their research at the annual Society for Neuroscience meeting. Nu Rho Psi also offers competitive research grants to promote their educational and community initiatives. We mentor our members through publications (e.g. The Nu Rho Psi Guide to Graduate School in Neuroscience) and provide support to foster other outreach activities of the Society. The SoC Trailblazer program is composed of a Faculty Director and Executive Student Board consisting of undergraduate students. Together, the faculty director and student executive board oversee and maintain the SoC Trailblazer’s program. The organization holds events for Trailblazer members two (2) times per month
throughout the academic year, with one (1) large scale event each Fall and Spring semester. Event topics and dates are organized and overseen by the Executive
Student Board and are approved by the Faculty Director

OFFICIAL CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP:
Official Chapter Membership grants you special access to scholarships, internships, and publication opportunities, along with the chance to attend and present work at an annual convention. Application and $60 fee* (+ additional $5 to bursar’s office into chapter’s account) required.

*You may apply for a fee waiver from Sigma Tau Delta or request scholarship aid by contacting our advisor, Professor Mildred Lewis.


ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR OFFICIAL CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP:
• Candidates for undergraduate membership must have completed a minimum of two college courses in English language or literature beyond the usual requirements in freshman English. The candidate must have a minimum of a B or equivalent average in English and in general scholarship, must rank at least in the highest thirty-five percent of their class, and must have completed at least three semesters or five quarters of college course work. (Local chapters may raise, but not lower, these criteria.) Candidates for undergraduate membership need not be majoring or minoring in the discipline of English. Where class rank is unavailable, the candidate shall have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
• Candidates for graduate membership who did not hold undergraduate membership must be enrolled in a graduate program in English or one of its specializations, have completed six semester hours of graduate work or the equivalent, and have a minimum grade point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
